For those who desire a less expensive aluminum post mesh pool fence option, Protect-A-Child now offers one with Fiberglass Reinforced aluminum support posts.

This fence offers many advantages that competing aluminum post fences can't match.

IN STRENGTH: Our .063" wall thickness aluminum posts are solidly reinforced with a Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) insert.

Why is this better than X and Y extrusion posts?

First, we start with .063" wall thickness aluminum stock, which is 14% thicker than the .049" thick aluminum found in many competing fences.

Second, we reinforce the post with an unbreakable Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) insert. This insert prevents our posts from cracking off at the bottom screw hole where the post exits the patio.

The unbreakable FRP insert in Protect-A-Child aluminum posts forces stress to travel far up the post before it can bend or break. This dramatically increases the strength of our pool fence giving you a stronger and safer fence.

Competing aluminum posts with an X and Y pattern built into them offer no reinforcement where the bottom screw hole has weakened the metal. Such posts loose a significant amount of strength where you need it most by easily cracking off at that fulcrum point.
